About The Katz Meow Curated Shopping Events
I’ve been participating in shopping events since I was 16, and over time, I found it increasingly difficult to get into events because I “wasn’t on the coordinator’s list.” To address this issue, I created what is now The Katz Meow Curated Shopping Events ten years ago. My goal is to help vendors, especially those who make handmade goods, find opportunities to showcase and sell their products.
The Katz Meow Curated Shopping Events isn’t a business. It’s the name I use on Facebook and this website so people can recognize the events I volunteer to coordinate. I’m dedicated to giving vendors a fair opportunity to participate while offering shoppers a thoughtfully selected variety of handmade goods and specialty products.

I'm just trying to run nice small to medium-sized well organized events that have much variety and that connect talented, hard-working individuals with opportunities

Because it's fun
Coordinating and putting events together is hard work. It involves many many hours of preparation, but it's rewarding and fun too.
As a participant in my own events, I want to make money too. I do not profit from the shows I run. Monies collected for events I run go to hall rental, advertising, insurance and any other fees associated with running an event.
